THE HOUSE OF THE SACFor I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:38-39

Home for Easter, gotta love home cooked food, sleeping in my waterbed (way more comfortable), hottub, and not to mention no class.   Louisville beat Washington last night in the NCAA tourney... my bracket is shot.

This morning I took my computer in to the place I bought it, if you didn't know, its been messed up all semester, so hopefully that will be fixed soon, so I can post pictures from my digital camera and stuff.

Kinda funny story, this past week in the middle school class I teach in for a period a day we did an activity involving the squid and mollusks I talked about a few posts ago.  So we had this raw seafood in the room, and I told the sub who would lead the activity the rest of the day to throw the stuff away at the end of the day... well thurday morning I came in to find one of the worst smells imaginable.   I think some of the other teachers in the rooms next door are a little ticked at me, oh well, something to laugh about in a few years (I'm laughing right now, its like a senior prank, but I'm in college, and I pulled it in a middle school, oops).

Anyway, have a great Easter weekend, remember the real reason for it though, and if you are on Spring Break enjoy it!

Going with the Rodney theme (seems to be popular, thanks A.D.), heres the quote of the day:

"I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet."

Hey everyone,

Sorry for taking so long since my last entry, been a busy few weeks I guess.   I spent last week on spring break in Clearwater, FL.  It was a great break from the semester.

Today Big Tone and I went on a search in Dayton for squid for the 7th grade class I teach in the mornings.  We found it at the second store we went to, which was good news.  On the way we found Blood Oranges and Kumquats (two of my favorites, try them if you never have).  We ended up buying some Mussels for the class too.

Right now I am listening to Radio U (a C-bus station) online, funny that I never have done this before.   Its 88.7 if you are close enough to Columbus, or on radiou.com if you aren't... like me.

Well, in conclusion or whatever, I wish I was back in FL (who would'nt?).  But anyway, it still is good to be back in Springfield, and teaching has been a lot of fun so far.  Its been great having YL club again this week too, definatly missed all the Shawnee people while I was gone.

Quote of the day:

"I had plenty of pimples as a kid. One day I fell asleep in the library. When I woke up, a blind man was reading my face."

Happy Valentines Day!

Sweetness, thats all I can say to describe my valentines gift this year (thanks mom, wow Im a loser).  But seriously, you gotta love all of this stuff, especially those little candy hearts with words on them.  I just ate one that said "Cool," what better affirmation than that.  "Sure Love", well I sure love this candy I guess.

I realized that spring break is less than 3 weeks away, and I can't wait.  That means 14 days of class and then freedom... for a week.  Anyway, if you haven't noticed, I really don't have anything to say, so I am just rambling on.

I would say you just wasted your time reading todays post, but I do have a kinda funny quote to end the day on:

"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans are suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you."
